We are very proud in being nominated into the final of the County Times business of the year competition

We hope the Gentleman that stopped on his way to his family in Bristol enjoyed his Christmas lunch after realizing on Christmas day that he was supposed to be bringing all the vegetables for their meal - yes we were open - and saved the day!!
The Shop at The Wise Old Owl
A visit to the Food Emporium is not complete with a wander around the shop, where we really do endeavour to support our local producers and suppliers to bring the very best of the region.
You can be sure of some amazing products and of course we are always only too pleased to source specific items to suit your personal requirements, we can also arrange for any of our products to be wrapped into a wonderful hamper – the perfect present for friends and relatives – or a small individual “pressie”as a surprise on your guests table in the restaurant.
We have a range including:
Chutneys, Cakes, Biscuits, Bread , Ice Cream, Chocolates, Crisps, Wines, Beers, Dairy, Cheeses, Meats, Fish, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Organic products and a range of "Allergy Aware" and "Gluten Free" products.

Opening Times:
The cafe, bar & shop opens at 11am till 11.00pm every day for coffee, cakes, afternoon cream teas, or for a browse around.
The restaurant serves food from 12.00pm until 3.00pm and again 5.30pm until 9.30pm.
